This weekend I went to a H-Boat regatta with Jutta and Avid from our sailing club. There was no wind on Saturday and the one race we tried was terminated as we didn't reach the minumum speed of 2,5 knots. In the evening a few sailors, led by Avid and Meike tried to make the best out of it:



On Sunday there was not a lot of wind either. But unlike Saturday the sun was not shining. Instead it was bloody cold and raining. To make matters worse we were disqualified due to an early start.
The good thing is that we were the first in the harbour and the first to drink hot chocolate in the sailing club.

I never understood how PISA could come up with such desasterous results for the German school system - I mean I know that our education system sucks, but I never imagined it to be as bad as was always said. Maybe this is because I grew up in a place where life was still good.
But since I moved to Witten I see more and more evidence for the truth behind PISA.
